Get your summer yukata on!
Summer in Japan means one thing: matsuri! Matsuri are festivals and traditionally people wear yukata when attending. The good thing about summer yukata apart from looking really cool is that they are perfect for the hot and sticky summers in Japan. And no matter where in Japan you stay, there will always be a matsuri for you to attend nearby. Summer also means hanabi or fireworks displays so they’re another excuse to wear a summer yukata.
Of course you can wear your normal clothes as well but why not try and blend in a bit and do what the locals do? So get your yukata ON!
