The Malaysian Students’ Association in Japan recommends Malay Asian Cuisine for authentic home-cooked Malaysian food. It’s a swanky place in Shibuya; the swankiest of swanky places in Tokyo so it’s really easy to get to by foot from either Shibuya station or Omotesando station. Another reason the MSAJ guys recommend it is because the prices area also student-friendly.

Basically, when it comes to ethnic foods, my rule has always been that if it’s good enough for the natives, it’s probably authentic. And as their website states, it’s all HALAL so you can enjoy satay or even roast duck when you’re in Tokyo!
